SNAG Golf is putting its money where its mouth is by planning a blitz to promote this revolutionary learning programme throughout the sprawling Asian continent.
In a major announcement, SNAG Golf (Starting New At Golf) has announced that it will be participating in the 2013 Asia Pacific Golf Summit (APGS) later this year.
In confirming the SNAG involvement, Mike Sebastian, chief executive officer of the Asia Pacific Golf Group, the owner and producer of APGS said, ? Over the past 10 years, SNAG Golf has built a premier learning system recognized by industry leaders around the world as the superior method to teach golf fundamentals in a fun and easy way?.
The pitch for SNAG will be delivered by its dynamic founder and President Terry Anton. ?Terry got his first introduction to the Asia Pacific at APGS in 2009 in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur and since that launch, he has gone on to grow SNAG in Japan, China and India,? Sebastian pointed out.
?I am delighted to take to the stage at APGS 2013 because I believe that it is the best platform in the region to promote SNAG and its importance in growing the game of golf with juniors and beginners in general,? said Anton.
SNAG Golf?incorporates developmentally appropriate equipment that will allow golf to be learned and played in non-traditional venues, such as on a soccer field, in a gym, or on the beach. According to Anton, ?The programme builds on strong fundamentals of the different strokes and swings and develops playing ability quickly and effectively?.
SNAG has also received strong support and validation from the greatest golfer of all time, Jack Nicklaus. This year, a national grassroots initiative to bring entry-level golf to millions of children and adults will be spearheaded by Jack Nicklaus and SNAG Golf in conjunction with the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA).
Known as the Jack Nicklaus Learning Leagues (JNLL), it will use SNAG programming and equipment, and will? be rolled out in Parks and Recreation facilities in order to increase access to and engagement in the game of golf for youth and active adults.
?In an effort to be more competitive with other sports, golf will enter the team sport arena through parks and recreation facilities across America and? JNLL will make golf and golf instruction available on a broader basis, and provide a safe, affordable, and accessible golf experience while developing a long-term sustainable model feeding into golf courses for future generations,? explained Anton.
