Life Coach, Hypnotherapy and NLP Portland, OR: How to Prepare Yourself for Success
Learning how to prepare yourself for success means developing some new habits or at least having a list to follow full of helpful techniques.
Of course you will have a goal in mind.? An example of how I prepare myself to write is by having a clutter-free and clean desktop, even if I have to pile things on the floor, leaving a path to walk through. I have a comfortable chair and the light is perfect. My desk faces a corner of the office and if I glance to the right, I might catch the Black-Chinned Hummingbird at the feeder.
The workspace has to be free of things that might distract me.(No, the Hummingbird soothes me)
Make sure you have everything you need: paper in the printer, favorite pens, water or tea, the kitchen timer and most important, the outline for your project. For this blog, I make an outline by creating 5 to 10 titles and ideas in advance. I allow myself to change them when I begin writing, but for the most part, I stay with my original ideas.
Preparation is essential to many activities including cooking, gardening, writing a book or practicing self-improvement. It?s the same as following a recipe you?ve chosen for dinner.
Having all your tools, spices, bowls, cooking utensils at hand will make the process smooth and efficient. There?s no substitute for preparation.
